How To Add An Avatar To WordPress.

 

So this post has come about after an email I got from a visitor on one of my niche blogs.

It was a nice email to say they liked one of the posts and had found it really helpful so I decided to reply,

I thanked her and asked why she had not just left a comment on the blog instead of emailing me as it would of been easier. The reply I got was “I don’t like to leave comments as I don’t know how to add an avatar to wordpress and it makes me feel stupid when everyone else has one”.

So For All Those That Don’t Know How To Add An Avatar To WordPress

You will kick yourself when you see how easy it is.

Head to gravatar.com

Hit the login/signup link and after you confirm your email address you will be asked to create a user name and password.

Once that’s done simply hit the Add One Here Link.

 

 

Once you have either uploaded your image or added your image url you are done.

Told you it was easy you can also add more than one email address so if you have different websites that you are branding with the same image  or logo you can create some great back links with commenting on relevant blogs with your sites and your image and if you don’t know by now that blog commenting is a great way to get traffic to your site you should check out the post I did a while ago on How To Get Website Traffic HERE.
