Alexa Rank Challenge Update
BySo six days have past and I thought I would give you a quick update on Alexa Rank.
Now in this time I have been away so have done no promoting at all for my site yet still my Alex rank has gone from 665,482 as you can see in my previous post Alexa Rank Challenge to 585,587.
Now that is great but Paul has been working hard and managed to get his Alexa rank down to 470,777. Not good for the challenge but this is good in a way as this is going to make me work even harder at catching him up and getting my site promoted and that is what this is all about,getting your site out there and getting it seen by as many people that have the Alexa Toolbar installed.
Have you got the Alexa toolbar installed yet?
Why not set yourself a challenge. Find some online friends and set yourselves a challenge it will insure that you will not slack in the promotin of your site if nothing else.
All I have been doing so far is commenting on other blogs it’s time to get some articles written and some forum posting done.

Hey James,
Good stuff mate, even though you were away your rank still improved a fair bit considering.
I was visting daily to help you out a bit, as I do like competition
On the whole I’ve not been doing much more than blog commenting on the whole. I’ll have to take my own advise and work on some of the tips I posted.
Right now I’m busy getting my first ebook finished, and working on GiveAway events. So I’m not going to have much time for blog commenting at the moment, so you have a chance to catch me up!
I’ve just given you a mention in my most recent blog post too, so that might also help you? Seeing as I’ve asked my visitors to check your blog out.

Was going to do it today but I to be honest I have been up all night sick (not that you wanted to know that)
I have just added a giveaway section at the top in my menu bar and plan to add all the giveaways as I come across them. Check it out.

Just seen your comment on my blog about the video you are planning, that’s cool of you to do that.
I will check out your giveaway section in a sec, I’m thinking of doing something very similar on my blog. I’ve seen quite a few people with giveaway sections now, obviously it will help with the referrals. Which is cool, as the only way to join a giveaway is to go through someone’s link.

When I saw my results drop to 450,301 I was so chuffed I even thought about doing another post about it but I think although I’m still playing catch up with Paul the posts about it are done (for now)

Hey James,
When I started this challenge my Alexa ranking was at 456,723 and I challenged Marcus Passey telling him I would catch him. At the time he was ranked at 263,811.
Now I’m at 380,771 and he’s at 224,570 so I’m gaining on him. My immediate goal is to get to 250,000 and my ultimate goal is to get to 99,999.

Hey Jeff,
I have been a bit slack the past week Paul is down to 309,231 and I am only at 428,836 so I have lost around 20,000 as he was 80,000 ahead of me so I have more work to do.
It’s good fun and keeps you working. Every blog I come across,he seems to have been there before me.grrr I’ll get him.
Marcus is going great now but then again so are you.
It was great to get under the 500,000 mark thinking back to when it started I didn’t think it would be possibly so just goes to show what you can do if you just try.
