So, I feel as though this blog post has been coming for some time but it has never felt like the right time to do it, is there ever a right time to quit?

After years of struggle and jumping from one thing to another I just can't take anymore and have to give up.

It's not an easy thing to do for me as I have been doing it for so long, but now since I have made the decision I finally feel like I am free at last and can shout to the world.
I QUIT....

So, I feel as though this blog post has been coming for some time but it has never felt like the right time to do it, is there ever a right time to quit?

After years of struggle and jumping from one thing to another I just can’t take anymore and have to give up.

It’s not an easy thing to do for me as I have been doing it for so long, but now since I have made the decision I finally feel like I am free at last and can shout to the world.

I QUIT….

My DAY JOB That is

I have been manager of the same store for just under 9 years as well as doing bar work for a lot of that time but on Monday the area manager said he was paying a visit so I thought that was an idea time to hand in my notice earlier than I intended, I was going to hand it in on the first of March to make sure the store was covered but though why not just do it now.

So the 25th Feb will be my last day working for others and I am going it alone. I have to say it wasn’t a bad job really, if it was I would have moved on long ago but I was left to run things on my own and only had a visit from the big bosses every few months but of course this is what I have been working towards all along.

Haven’t we all?

So I guess now the hard work really begins but at least I will have the time to put more into it now, (if my wife doesn’t give me too much to do around the house) I think I am going to busier than I have ever been and can’t wait to get started with things.

I have a lot of planning to do before I get started with a lot of the things in the pipeline but I have no doubt the all will be good.

Not sure why I started this so late as it’s almost 1am here and I still need to get up for work, these last few weeks are going to be the hardest ever to do me thinks and I will be counting down each and every second.

I hope I can get back into blogging a bit more for you when I have the time as it has been so hard with very limited time to get everything done to be able to get where I am but it just goes to show that if I can do it anyone can do it.

From working full time with two jobs most of the time and not forgetting being a father of 3 children which takes up the rest of my time (in a good way) to having all the time and freedom I need.

I hope you get there soon too.

For now a very good night

James

So, when my PC crashed to be honest I wasn’t all that bothered as of course I had everything backed up.
The problem was though, I had everything backed up onto a Laptop that then, before I had chance to back up also crashed and died.

Aha, I though. Now although I didn’t get all of it backed up I still had plenty of my files and folders on my old Laptop…Have you guessed what happened yet???

So that is why you not only need to back up EVERYTHING but make sure you do it to an external source.

I have to say in a way it’s great as it’s like starting fresh with no distractions, no products collected cyber dust. I miss some of the software the most that I bought and payed for but of course all my passwords and the emails I paid with were all safely stored in a notepad file.

What would you miss most if you lost it all?

At first I didn’t think I would miss much and saw it as a get chance to get started over but as the days go by I realize how much I used the stuff, even down to a simple html editor that I knew how to use very well to tracking and link building software.

It has also set me back a bit as I have not been blogging of late as I have been focused on a site for CPA and had a few hundred links that I needed to do some sharing and back linking with but never mind I have been planning to create a different site for a while and I have now moved my focus onto that end. All I need now is an html editor that doesn’t make me feel like throwing this PC out the window (no that’s not what happened to the last one).

But first though. A cup of Tea.

How To Add An Avatar To WordPress.

So this post has come about after an email I got from a visitor on one of my niche blogs.

It was a nice email to say they liked one of the posts and had found it really helpful so I decided to reply,

I thanked her and asked why she had not just left a comment on the blog instead of emailing me as it would of been easier. The reply I got was “I don’t like to leave comments as I don’t know how to add an avatar to wordpress and it makes me feel stupid when everyone else has one”.

So For All Those That Don’t Know How To Add An Avatar To WordPress

You will kick yourself when you see how easy it is.

Head to gravatar.com

Hit the login/signup link and after you confirm your email address you will be asked to create a user name and password.

Once that’s done simply hit the Add One Here Link.

Once you have either uploaded your image or added your image url you are done.

Told you it was easy you can also add more than one email address so if you have different websites that you are branding with the same image or logo you can create some great back links with commenting on relevant blogs with your sites and your image and if you don’t know by now that blog commenting is a great way to get traffic to your site you should check out the post I did a while ago on How To Get Website Traffic HERE.

Now I think this has to be the shortest post I have ever done but if it helps a few people out then it’s all good

And that’s how to add an avatar to wordpress.

I was using giveaways a lot last year with great success.

BUT...

The time it takes to sign up then add your gift really put me off and I stopped using them for a long time
It is only recently I have started back up and as you can see on my giveaway page here I need to update
them.

That's another problem as in order to keep your gift ranked you need to promote the giveawy the you join.

Push Button Giveaways 2.0 solves both those problems as not only makes it push button easy to join the jv giveaway events, (YES IT REALLY IS A CASE OF PUSHING A COUPLE OF BUTTONS) it also gives you a url to promote that contains all the giveaways that you have joined making it simple to promote them too.

How cool is that?

Niche Reaper Review

In an internet marketing world where every market seems saturated it can be disheartening trying to do keyword research to find a niche that you can make money in.

I wasn't going to write about this today but I was checking out one of my blogs last night and noticed that although I had WP Lapdance installed I had not added the right url into the redirect option in it so after correcting that issue I woke up to find an extra $109.96 in one of my Clickbank accounts.

earnings thanks to wp-lapdance

Now I can't just put it down to WP Lapdance but the only change I made to the site was checking my links and this time adding the right one. Oops I had been testing this for a while too so I dread to think how much I have been missing out on.

Anyway if you don't know about WP Lapdance, it's a simple plug-in that just takes a couple of minutes to set up (if you do it right of course) and from there you can create exit pop ups. Not just any old plain Grey ones like most though with this handy little plug-in you can add clickable text, images and even video right into your pop-up. How cool is that.

Have you ever attended a webinar?

If you have was it worth your time?

Did you learn from it or did you switch off because you knew there would be a sales pitch at the end of it?

The reason I ask is because there is a lot of money to be made doing webinars, not that I have done any but know plenty of people that do and have great results from doing them. If you are on the right ones you can learn a hell of a lot in a short amount of time.

The thing is though, everyone is jumping in and trying it and like most things some are better at it than others and that's where the problem starts.

Good on these people for trying hell I don't think I could do it myself so I am not going to knock them for trying and I am sure that they will get better but I have been on a couple and at the end I am left with an empty note pad next to me wondering what I was suppose to learn from it.

Then you get the few that are top notch and I end up with a few pages of notes and wanting to take action from what I have just been taught and since it was so good you think if they are doing another one I am going to do my best to get on them, hell yes..

Two that spring to mind as giving great content whenever they do a webinar are Alex Jeffreys and Dean Hunt..

I was on Alex's coaching course so I know that he puts his all into whatever he does and he tends to over deliver whenever he can, I might be biased as his course was so good but I tend to jump on any of his webinars if I can and suggest you do the same. He has made more money from giving away solid information than anyone I know. Check out his proof of earnings and his latest insider information below.

He is offering his insider information and it's not your normal "loophole", or "glitch" software type thing... not even close.

Dean Hunt is someone I only came across a few months ago thanks to Phil Henderson and the power of Facebook.
I was on one of his webinars and man I don’t think I have taken so many notes before he certainly knows how to give great content and the good thing is when you get a webinar invite from him it’s not a case of thinking not another one from him he can’t have anything left to teach because he gets top notch guest speakers involved so it’s always something new.

I have to be honest and say a couple that Dean has done have not been for me, that’s only becuase the information was not suited for what I was doing not that the content was of any less value than the rest, but that’s the thing his webinars are so different that he gives content for everyone at some point so if ones not for you his next one might just have the content you were looking for.

Signup below for a chance to see his On Demand Cash Vault webinar replay
Click Here To Get A Chance To See The On Demand Cash Vault Replay

With all that said, what’s your view on webinars?

Do you feel more often than not that you take something away from them?

Let me know below,

Cheers,

Put Your Trust In Those Who Have EARNED It, And ONLY Those Who Have Earned It.

If you are, or have been, a previous customer or subscriber, to a certain person who does business online and have had satisfactory results, stay with them. They will continue to strive to keep you happy customer throughout the course of your association with them.

This may seem like common sense, but you would shake your head in disgust if I told you just how many customers and newsletter subscribers "drop me" as a credible source for their resale rights purchases and information. And this is after I have sent them FREE products and information!!

Frankly. it is those people's loss and not mine. They will be the one's that will have to go through years of "learning" when they could have went through weeks instead. Too bad, so sad, good-bye! Besides, I have many more loyal customers and subscribers to continue to take care of that appreciate what I have to offer them.

Don't Quit Your Regular Day Job.

This is very important. If you work a normal "9 to 5'er" job in the real world, DO NOT QUIT. Although the promises of "wealth from home" may be calling out to you, earning money online is a tremendously fluctuating income. I don't care what the other "gurus" or "experts" have to say on this point.

If you're someone who is "new to the game", then you don't have enough "know how" yet to make online earnings a steady flow, Not to say it's impossible, but, it's a difficult task. There's many thing you need to do to ensure your "money flow" is consistent throughout the year.

What you NEED to do is ease into the Internet Marketing industry slowly, learn what you can, and must do, to set up a business, then run it. Don't try to master every aspect of IM that there is in a week's time and believe you can tell your boss to take a hike. You'll just make yourself that much more broke!

So with that said lets jump right in..

Too bad, so sad, good-bye! Besides, I have many more loyal customers and subscribers to continue to take care of that appreciate what I have to offer them.

Don’t Quit Your Regular Day Job.

This is very important. If you work a normal “9 to 5′er” job in the real world, DO NOT QUIT. Although the promises of “wealth from home” may be calling out to you, earning money online is a tremendously fluctuating income. I don’t care what the other “gurus” or “experts” have to say on this point.

If you’re someone who is “new to the game”, then you don’t have enough “know how” yet to make online earnings a steady flow, Not to say it’s impossible, but, it’s a difficult task. There’s many thing you need to do to ensure your “money flow” is consistent throughout the year.

What you NEED to do is ease into the Internet Marketing industry slowly, learn what you can, and must do, to set up a business, then run it. Don’t try to master every aspect of IM that there is in a week’s time and believe you can tell your boss to take a hike. You’ll just make yourself that much more broke!

People who buy information products online are a fickle bunch. What be a highly popular product last week may be phased out with a new product by the next. Technology is an always evolving thing, so you must be prepared for things to change, as they will, and do.

Just Because An Internet Marketer Is Someone “Well Known” Doesn’t Always Mean They Are Right.

A very important point to be aware of this one. Everyone who believes themselves a “guru” will always believe that their own brand of “methodology” is the correct one. Not always the case. It doesn’t matter if they’ve studied a particular subject for 20 years, they are still learning what they know from someone else. And on and on it goes.

And some of these so called “gurus” are self-proclaimed as such. Meaning, they dub themselves a guru in their chosen fild. And out of those, half of them are probably, and most likly newbies, just like you! Talk about coming out of left field!!

So my advice, take it all with a grain of salt. Eveyone is in this business to in effect make a name for themselves and recruit their own cult of “followers”.

I’m not telling you not to listen, just to be choosy at what, and who, you are listening to that is providing you with this information, and of course, what amount of that information you are implementing into your online business.

Don’t Expect To Make Money For Free.

I’ve seen this time and time again. Thousands of people hopping onto the internet expecting that they can somehow make money starting from $0. To be honest, this really isn’t plausible if you honestly think about it.

I mean, does a company like Wal-Mart just decide one day, “Hey, lets open up this mega store that carries like everything a person would need so they don’t have to shop anywhere else. Then, let’s also make the prices so ridiculously low that they won’t want to shop anywhere else. Oh, and let’s get all these products that we’re going to sell for free.”

What, did they just “fall off the back of a truck somewhere in New Jersey”?? I don’t think so! Evey single company has to have cash on hand to start up their business with. EVERY SINGLE ONE OF THEM. Whether they have to buy supplies, advetising space, or products to resell to their customers, all of them have to have real money to purchase this stuff with,

It’s no different with an online business. You STILL HAVE TO HAVE MONEY TO SPEND IN ORDER TO SEE A RETURN. It’s basic economics here. With that being said, you also need to know WHERE to spend you money for it to do you the most good and see profits as a result of spending it. So, be choosy where you spend your money. Just know that you need to have it in order to make it.

That’s all the words of wisdom I have for today but more coming soon, let me know what you think so far below in the comments.

Thanks,

James

What I'm going to tell you within the next few posts isn't going to be all sweetness & light. It is going to be cold hard facts that you might not like to hear. Regardless I'm going to tell you anyway because I think it's high time you know the truth and stop wasting your time on a bunch of half-ass products that don't or can't do a thing for you to get you hopping on the fast track to success.

First though, you need to understand that when I say "fast track to success" I DO NOT mean you will be making hundreds, thousands or millions of dollars by tomorrow night.

You have just about as much chance of that as winning the lottery.

I told you this wasn't going to to be some happy "sugar-coated" fairy land. This is the cold hard world where you see the truth in it everyday for precisely what it is. Good or bad. That's what you're going to see here too.

I hope that by the time you finish reading this and my next post, you will have a clearer understanding of how the Internet Marketing industry works and the things that merit your time within it.

1. Don't Believe Everything You Read.

You're about to learn why this little tid bit of information tops my list of "Don'ts". The internet is a vast, and I do mean vast, source of information plastered all over the place. The internet marketing field is no different. You're likely to see 2,000 products all on the same subject. Each one of the authors claiming that THEIR product is better than all the rest because of x-y-z reasons.

Let me explain something to you right now before I continue on...

Internet marketing is just like a magic trick. Every Internet Marketer that's worth their weight in hundred dollar bills knows that it's all in the presentation. Just like a magician. I mean, if you could sneak backstage and see how the magic is performed, you'd lose interest in the actual trick.

My point is this...

If you knew what these top Internet Marketing pors did to create the "smoke-and-mirror" effects, then the product they were advertising would seem less than amazing.

Now, for your REAL education. Here's some of those "smoke-and-mirror" effects so that you can learn to see past them and use the tricks yourself:

Now, for your REAL education. Here’s some of those “smoke-and-mirror” effects so that you can learn to see past them and use the tricks yourself:

- EXPIRING OFFERS. Sometimes it’s real, sometimes it’s bogus.
More often thannot though, it’s bogus. This excludes those offers
deemed as firesales. Those really DO have an expiry. Still, it is a
sales gimmick to get you to buy now.

- LIMITED INTRODUCTORY OFFER. Usually this is simply a trick to
get you motivated to purchace a vendor’s product. On occassion, a vendor
will raise their prices, but not normally.

- A COMPELLING LIFE STORY. Internet Marketers use this trick to
believe that they are living “high on the hog” and have been made multi
-millionaires through their efforts of creating and selling information
products online. And they are willing to “share these secrets of wealth”
with you, for a price. Of course, those searching for easy ways to make
more money, or become millionaires themselves will more than happily
plop down the bucks.

- FACTS AND FIGURES. Yes, some sales materials will contain what
you are lead to beleive are real examples of income earned through the
particular program they are trying to peddle. But, with image editing
programs such as Adobe Photoshop, anyone can “doctor” up an image that
reflects so called “real earnings”. Again, some are real, and others are
made up to get you hooked enough to close the sale. Notice too that any sales page that contains “actual” facts or earning income figures will
also carry disclaimers that “the results represented here are not typical”, or some other type of legal material to keep the seller out of
“hot water” with people who expect the “moon”.

2. Don’t Believe That You Can Log Onto The Internet And Be
A Cash Powerhouse After Putting In 15 Minutes Of Work.

Simply put…

It Aint Gonna Happen. Period.

Notice the very last word in the titled reason. WORK. Doing it online is just as time
consuming, a pain in the ass, and task oriented as an offline job is. Sometimes it’s even more of those aformentioned things!

When you sell something and keep the money for yourself, you are a self employed
entrepreneur. You are running a business with you heading up the company. A sole
proprietor. That’s YOU.

In fact, most Internet Marketers, or those running a small online business wear several
different job “hats”. Once you’ve been at it for a while, you will learn this overlooked fact.
There’s no “magic bullet” or pill that will magically transform you into a multi-million dollar
earner overnight. If there was, I would line up to get a few of them myself!

3. Don’t Buy Every Resale Rights Product You See For Sale
And Think You’ll Be Rolling In Dough Afterwards.

I honestly believe every newbie goes through this stage of the game. Then they figure out
that buying everything that is “new” to them isn’t so new to others who have been in the
Internet Marketing business for a while. In the process, they learn the cold, hard truth of the
matter. They should have done some research before plunking down their cash. but, at that
point, it’s too late. Money spent. Lesson learned.

Yes, it is true that you will need to purchase products that you can resell for profits, but you
really need to know which ones are worth your money. Don’t go buying up crap you see on
sale at eBay for a buck and think you’re gonna turn around and sell it for 5 dollars a pop.
This is completely unrealistic. Think about it. Why would someone buy from you at a more
expensive price when they can buy it just like you did for one single “George Washington”

Whether you’re a newbie or not, I’m telling you right now…

DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY

You don’t have to. Invest in a resale rights membership site. Again, NOT THROUGH EBAY.
They simply aren’t worth even the “less than $10″ price tag placed on them. Take it from
someone who’s already been down this road and learned the expensive way.

I’m going to tell you this once and I want you to ingrain it into your brain.

YOU WILL NEVER NEED MORE THAN 3 MEMBERSHIPS AT ONE GIVEN TIME

And THAT is the MAXIMUM. I will tell you what 3 sites I have chosen to remain a loyal subscriber of and that have more than been worth my money and time. And they have consistently brought me in profits with the products that they supply to me without fail.

1. Aaron Danker’s – Platinum Resell Rights

In a word, FANTASTIC Aaron goes to great lengths to provide his members with top quality products with graphics that are second to none in my view. Every month on the 15th two brand new products are available for download, there is also a ton of bonus downloads inside the members area.

2. Khai Ng’s – Self Improvement PLR

Now I have already done a post about this HERE, but to recap. Not only is it targeted in a lucrative, money pumping niche like self improvement and personal development, the products are also top notch and his products are purchased by big names such as David Cavanagh, Jeremy Gislason, Simon Hodgkinson, Edmund Loh, Ian Del Carmen, John Delavera and many more..

3. Jeremy Gislason’s SureFireWealth

If you don’t find something inside the other two sites, you’ll find it here. Jeremy is a crazt nut! He offers three different versions of membership, free, silver and gold. Obviously the metallic memberships do cost money, but are well worth it as you have access to more top notch products that the free members don’t. My advice, go for gold. You get access to absolutely everything inside the members only area of his site and can download what you please. Jeremy has such a vast array of products that not only does he include those with resale rights, but also some with private label rights too. It’s damn good value for the pittance that Jeremy is asking for.

Of course, to be frankly honest with you, I have many more subscriptions than just those three listed above. However, those three are the ones that I will stick with on down the road.

Now, you would probably bust a gut if I told you just how many membership sites I belong to. And believe me, I’m paying out the nose for them too. Average cost is around $27 a month membership fees. And that is the average. Some are more, some are less, but believe me when I tell you that I’m paying out several hundred dollars every month for access to them. Now you don’t have to, and I suggest you do not. There’s no need to! Unless you are a resale rights addict like me.

Find only 2, or even 1 to begin with. That’s all you need first starting out. I suggest you go with one of those listed above.

Now I think I have gone on long enough with this post of wisdom, believe me I put this all down on paper first and there is a lot more to come.

Let me know your thought on this post and leave a comment below and keep an eye out for more Internet Marketing Wisdom coming your way real soon.

The answer is both YES and NO

How many times have you heard than you need to start building your list but not done anything about it?

In truth it took me years to listen and, it was only then that I started to earn a regular income but it is the relationship you have with your list that makes the difference not the size of the list. I have to admit that of late I have not been as good to my list as I would have liked. I got so caught up trying to help others with their business that mine has slipped and for that I can only say sorry.

Anyway to what this post is about.

You see although your list is one of the most important things you can have in your business you will get nowhere without traffic.

Think of it this way, if your list is the heart of your business then traffic is the blood that pumps it and keeps it beating...

No traffic to your squeeze page, no list. simple as that.

More traffic, more subscribers.
